Is Bob the builder the future robotics

Bob the build is a story about a builder and his robots the help him do his job.  I the only real differences is they might be a bit more competent.  But the idea the voice commanded construction tool are not far off.

Not the kill all humans as portrayed in movie and scifi shows.  They can be the salvation of use all.  Fear of robots taking over the world is just a fear of your own lust for power and control. Robots not going through the same evolutionary pressers with not have the same drives. We can make them in to angels with the right programming.
